Minter, Stenberg earn award for article

Deborah Minter and Shari Stenberg have earned the Kenneth Bruffee Award from the Council of Writing Program Administrators (CWPA) for their article published in WPA: Writing Program Administration.

The award honors research published in WPA that is cutting edge, methodologically rigorous, and has the potential to broadly impact writing programs and the discipline. CWPA is a national association of college and university faculty with professional responsibilities for (or interests in) directing writing programs.

"Arriving with Credit: A Study of 200-Level Writers and the Question of Equivalency" was published in the Spring 2021 issue.

Minter is an associate professor in the Department of English, and Stenberg is Adele Hall Chair of English and director of the Women's and Gender Studies program.
