Senior women's and gender studies minor Annie Himes was recently named a chancellor's scholar, along with 31 other fellow students. Himes is a global studies, history, and Russian triple major with minors in WGS, political science, English, Spanish, and human rights and humanitarian affairs.
Chancellor's Scholars are students who graduated in December or who will receive their degrees in May or August and have maintained 4.0 grade-point averages on all collegiate work at UNL and elsewhere. Himes will be honored at the All-University Honors Convocation on April 24 at 2pm at the Lied Center.
